Relay
Relay is a free voice guide for Arc Raiders. Say where you are and what you need, and it tells you which way and how far. I designed the product, brand and site, and built the Android app with Claude. It’s currently in testing.

I kept trying to squeeze in a quick raid before bed and spending most of it lost flicking through guides. I wanted answers without putting the controller down, so Relay is built to be heard: a full spoken sentence, a short instruction on screen, a map only when you need to travel.

Ask for an enemy, a raider cache or a patch of moss. Relay searches 21,000 spots across all seven maps and points to the nearest. No filters.

Kept dark for evening raids. The cream and yellow borrow from Arc Raiders’ retro 70s look.

The biggest challenge was making it all run free and on the phone: speech recognition, an offline voice and community map data, working together as one reliable Android app.
